Brian Tracey – Clarinet

Brian Tracey

Brian Tracey is a Baltimore-based clarinet player who earned his Master of Music degree from the Peabody Conservatory in 2016. As a performer, he has been the principal clarinet for the Berks Opera Company orchestra for 8 years, performs regularly with the Liberty Wind Symphony in West Chester, PA, and is excited to be joining the Maryland Winds for their inaugural season. He has also premiered more than 15 new works for clarinet as a soloist and with the Maryland Chamber Winds. Brian is also an adjunct faculty member at the Peabody Preparatory where he teaches clarinet and coaches chamber music. On Sundays you can find Brian in any of the wonderful Baltimore area churches performing as an organist.

When not playing music, Brian enjoys being outside—whether that is a hike or a paddle down the river in his kayak.
