Ross McCool enjoys an active career as both a performer and educator. His musical talents have taken him throughout the country, appearing with such ensembles as the Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, and the Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra.
Originally from Waldorf, Maryland, Ross began his collegiate musical education at Penn State University, studying with Dr. Langston Fitzgerald III. He went on to earn degrees in trumpet performance from Towson University (BM, 2015), under the tutelage of René Shapiro and Tom Bithell, and the University of Maryland (MM, 2018) with Chris Gekker.
When not on stage, Ross can be found brewing his next cup of coffee with his wife, Karen, and their cats Harriet and Angelo.
